Northern Savai'i
The Northern Savai’i tour begins with a 6:00 AM departure from the hotel to the Ferry Terminal, where we’ll catch the 8:00 AM ferry. The itinerary includes a visit to the vibrant Salelologa Market, followed by the historic Sapapali'i Church. This site marks the 1830 landing of the London Missionary Society, where Christianity was introduced to Samoa and warmly embraced by King Malietoa Vainuupo. Next, we’ll explore the fascinating Saleaula Lava Fields, the site of Samoa's last volcanic eruption in 1905. Here, our guides will highlight remarkable landmarks, including the miraculously preserved church ruins and the legendary Virgin’s Grave. You'll also have the chance to feed turtles and capture memorable photos at a nearby wetland area. The tour continues with a delicious lunch and time to relax or swim at the stunning Le Lagoto Resort before heading back for the 2:00 PM ferry departure.
Things to bring on the tour: swim wear, towel, reef shoes, sunscreen and hat, insect repellant.
